New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Jarrett Jack, starting in place of the injured Chris Paul, made three free throws with 8.4 seconds remaining, as the New Orleans Hornets rallied past the Dallas Mavericks, 93-92.
Jack finished with 21 points, seven assists and six rebounds for the Hornets, who have won three of four. Marco Belinelli also had 21 points.
David West donated 16 points and 10 boards for New Orleans, which got 15 points from Carl Landry.
Paul missed his second consecutive game since suffering a concussion against Cleveland on Sunday.
Dirk Nowitzki ended with 26 points for the Mavericks, who have lost eight in a row in New Orleans. Tyson Chandler chipped in with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
J.J. Barea and Jason Terry added 12 and 10 points, respectively, for Dallas, which has lost two of three since an eight-game winning streak.
