NCAA Baseball Rankings 2011: Longhorns Down To No. 8, Aggies Up To No. 6

Baseball America's NCAA rankings are out, and Texas A&M has passed Texas in the top 10, jumping from eight to six, while the Longhorns have fallen from five to eight. Texas dropped a series to unranked Oklahoma State as a part of a 2-2- week highlighted by a dominant nine inning outing by top draft prospect Taylor Jungmann on Friday (no runs, four hits, one walk, seven strikeouts) that keyed a 15-inning 1-0 win over the Cowboys.

Oklahoma held a third Top Ten spot for the Big 12, hanging in at No. 10, while Baylor moved up another two spots to 19 with a 3-1 week. TCU improved on their 12-7 record with a 3-1 week and jumped a spot to No. 14, and Rice dropped out of the poll.

Previous No. 1 Florida dropped three spots, with Vanderbilt, Virginia and South Carolina slid up to the top three spots. Arizona State took Texas; spot rounding out the top five.

BA's top 25 is after the jump:
