Baseball America released their latest NCAA Baseball rankings today, and five Texas schools made the top 25. The Rice Owls, Texas A&M Aggies, Baylor Bears, TCU Horned Frogs and Texas Longhorns all are ranked among the 25 best teams in the nation.
Rice, despite going 2-3 last week and falling to 10-8 on the year, remained in the top 25. The Owls, though, did drop seven spots in the rankings from 18th to 25th.
The Aggies moved up one spot this week, being ranked No. 21 this week following their 3-1 week last week, improving to 12-4 on the season.

Baylor rattled off a perfect 5-0 week last week to improve to 11-5 on the year, and jumping up in the rankings from No. 17 to No. 14. This is much needed for Baylor athletics following a rough week in basketball which included a ridiculous NCAA suspension as well as a Big 12 tournament loss and subsequent failure to receive an invitation to either the 2011 NCAA tournament or NIT tournament.
TCU dropped three spots this week after going 3-1 last week - with Matt Purke receiving his first ever collegiate loss. The Horned Frogs are now 10-5 on the season and No. 10 in the top 25.
Finally, the Texas Longhorns are ranked No. 5 - exactly where they were last week. Texas went 4-1 on the week, improving to 11-5 on the season.
