Blake Griffin Wins 2011 Slam Dunk Contest

Not that it really should be a surprise to anybody, but Los Angeles Clippers rookie Blake Griffin won the 2011 Sprite Slam Dunk contest on Saturday night, beating out DeMar DeRozan, Serge Ibaka, and JaVale McGee

As expected, there were all sorts of gimmicks and tricks coming out of the woodworks in Los Angeles for the dunk contest, including a choir singing at mid-court for Griffin's dunk over a KIA Optima. Yep, there was a car parked on the floor that Griffin did manage to jump over. To make matters worse more ridiculous, Baron Davis was sitting in the car and alley-ooped the pass to Griffin through the cars sunroof. When do you think we'll see this in an actual NBA game? No, really, David Stern has to be thinking of incorporating it into a game somehow, right?
