If Internet rankings are to be believed, it's been a disappointing signing period for the Aggies, as the class they're signing today ranks 32nd according to both Rivals and Scout, but they did finish strong. Highlighting their late wins four-star pass rusher Brandon Alexander. Alexander had backed off a bit from his commitment and flirted with Texas, but in the end he chose the Aggies over the Longhorns this morning after solidifying his commitment yesterday.
↵Other highlights of the class include four-star end Shayvion Hatten, safety Howard Matthews, and defensive back Devonta Burns from Arlington Martin. Burns has been with the Aggies since last April.
↵The Aggies seem to have been hurt by a top-20 class by Tommy Tubervilla and Texas Tech. They were unable to take further advantage of Mack Brown's cratering season, as Texas hung on to all but one of their commitments, though the Alexander win was big.
