It is starting to look more and more that Baylor's Robert Griffin III is going to win this years Heisman trophy award. Griffin is the heavy betting favorite and won the Heisman Pundit's straw poll; now add Stiff Arm Trophy as the latest to project Griffin as the winner.
Stiff Army Trophy has correctly predicted each of the last winners since 2002 and their method to predicting the winner comes from actual Heisman voters. The website finds out how actual Heisman voters cast their vote, then tabulate those results and then form a projection of the final numbers. Of the 213 ballots that Stiff Arm Trophy has come across, 77 percent of the first-place votes are for Griffin. The 213 ballots represents approximately 23 percent of the total.
