2011 College Football Awards: Robert Griffin III Named To Walter Camp All-American Team

Robert Griffin III was names to the Walter Camp All-American second team and is the only Baylor player to make the list.

Tonight is the 2011 Home Depot college football award show and up now is the 2011 Walter Camp All-American team. This will be the first of many All-American lists that will be coming out. Baylor Bears quarterback Robert Griffin III was named to the second-team and was beat out for the first-team slot by Stanford's Andrew Luck.

Griffin earned this spot as he led Baylor to their first nine-win season since 1986, a No. 12 ranking in the BCS and was second in the nation in total yards with 386.8 per game.

The Big 12 as a group had nine total selections with four named to the first-team. The first-team selections from the Big 12 were Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles, Texas A&M place kicker Randy Bullock and Kansas State kick returner Tyler Lockett.
