BYU Vs. Tulsa, 2011 Armed Forces Bowl Final Score: Cougars Top Golden Hurricane, 24-21

BYU's final gambit in the 2011 Armed Forces Bowl recalled one of the more clever moments in football's history. And it worked: the Cougars scored a game-winning touchdown with 11 seconds left after Riley Nelson faked a spike and threw a touchdown pass to Cody Hoffman, and BYU won the Armed Forces Bowl, 24-21.

The fourth quarter touchdown capped a BYU comeback from a 14-3 deficit in the second quarter. Nelson found Hoffman with 12 seconds left in the first half to make the deficit 14-10 at halftime, then again in the third quarter to take a 17-14 lead. Nelson completed just 17 of his 40 passes, but threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns; Hoffman had eight catches for 122 yards and the three scores.

Tulsa's G.J. Kinne threw for 214 yards and three scores of his own, and Bryan Burnham had four catches for 112 yards for the Golden Hurricane.
