The 2011 Poinsettia Bowl is tied for the fourth time. TCU answered a Louisiana Tech 14-point run with their longest drive of the entire season, a grinding 18-play, 72-yard effort that ended with a Luke Shivers one-yard dive and took 9:21 off the clock to tie the game with under eight minutes remaining in regulation.
After losing the time of possession battle by over five minutes in the first half, TCU has roared back in the second half thanks in large part to a run-based offense set up by the Frogs' diamond formation. Now TCU has an eight minute advantage in clock control, and Louisiana Tech will take the field on offense for the first time in the fourth quarter.
