Baylor Vs. BYU Final Score: Bears Recover From First Half Deficit To Win 86-83

The BYU Cougars gave No. 7 ranked Baylor Bears all they could handle Saturday afternoon. Baylor was taking on BYU at the Marriott Center and gave BYU a rare home loss. BYU was in control in the first half of this game and even had a lead of 12 points with under four minutes in the first frame.

Baylor then chipped away at the BYU lead and then at the 10:37 mark in the second half they retook the lead on a jumpe from Perry Jones III to give Baylor a 65-64 lead. Baylor was able to make a comeback in this game by hitting 13-of-25 three-point shots; BYU on the other hand they shot a mere seven-for-21 from beyond the arc.

The game came down to the final minutes as Baylor's lead never grew more than four durring the last four minutes of the game, but Baylor held the lead down the stretch. BYU had a chance to tie it with a three-pointer as time expired, but Brandon Davies attempted did not fall.

Baylor was led in scoring by Jones who had 28 points and they had Brady Heslip who scored18 points all on three-point shots. BYU was led by Davies and Matt Carlino who scored 18 apiece.
