2011 Bowl Projections: Bedlam Will Decide More Than Bragging Rights, Fiesta Bowl Birth At Stake

For the Oklahoma Sooners and the Oklahoma State Cowboys, there's never a need to get up for the biggest football game of the year in the Sooner State. A game simply known as "Bedlam."

The reward to the winner of this game usually has been bragging rights and a possible Big 12 championship. The ultimate reward both teams figured they'd be contesting for was a national championship, and unless Georgia can shock the world and Oklahoma State blows out Oklahoma, there will be a consolation prize waiting for them in Arizona. The Fiesta Bowl.

Per our good friends at National Football Post, their prediction places the winner of Bedlam in the January 2nd contest in Arizona against the Stanford Cardinal. Stanford would make this game as an at-large, due to their loss versus an Oregon Ducks team who will face a coach-less UCLA Bruins in the inaugural Pac-12 championship this Saturday.

A "Fiesta" can be a consolation party, right?
