Baylor Vs. Texas Tech Score: Bears Extend Lead 45-28 On Arm Of Backup QB Nick Florence

The Baylor Bears are without Robert Griffin III for the rest of tonight's game with a head injury, but the Baylor offense is showing no signs of slowing down. Back up quarterback Nick Florence took over for Griffin at the half and he is lighting up the Texas Tech Red Raiders secondary.

In just over one-half quarter of play Florence has two touchdown pass of 46 yards to Kendall Wright and a 40 yard touchdown pass to Terrance Williams. His state line so far is six-for-seven with 127 yards, that is more passing yards than Griffin had in the entire first half of play.

The Texas Tech offense has not had the same success in the second half as they have had to punt on their first two possessions and then on their third possession wide receiver Adam James had the ball stripped by the Baylor defense. That fumble was the first turnover of the game.
