Robert Griffin III Injury: Baylor Quarterback Out With Head Injury, Unlikely To Return Tonight

At the end of the first half Baylor Bears quarterback Robert Griffin III took a forearm to the head after he took off scrambling, but as he was sliding he took the hit. Griffin laid on the ground shortly and it was clear that he was dazed and suffered some sort of head injury. He came out the required one play due to injury, but he came back in and scored a touchdown.

Coming out of the half Griffin was seen wearing a baseball hat and his helmet has been taken away from him. The injury is serious enough for Baylor head coach Art Briles to burn the redshirt off of Nick Florence and it is safe to assume that Griffin is done for the day.

Florence in limited action has already thrown a 46-yard touchdown pass to Kendall Wright and looks sharp doing it.
