Baylor Vs. Texas Tech Score: Bears Up 17-14 In Second Quarter

Robert Griffin III is looking to keep his Heisman Trophy candidacy alive against Texas Tech. Baylor came out quick in the first quarter by scoring 10 points. In the first quarter Griffin has 115 total yards with 87 passing and 28 on the ground and he has two touchdowns to his name as well. 

Griffin's first touchdown was a 33-yard completion to Kendal Wright for the teams first score and then the second was a 4-yard run on the ground. Texas Tech was able to get a touchdown on the board with a 9-play, 76-yard drive that was scored on a 5-yard run by Sawyer Vest.

Texas Tech has responded in the second quarter by getting within three points on a 2-yard touchdown pass from Seth Doege to Eric Ward. Tech drove 76 yards on 13 plays and it was every yard was gained in the passing game. 

Texas Tech did suffer an injury to cornerback Happiness Osunde who was carted off the field in an air cast at the end of the first quarter and the injury looked serious.
