The Dallas Cowboys move up to the No. 9 spot in this week's ESPN Power Rankings thanks to an overtime victory over the division rival Washington Redskins on Sunday.
The Cowboys move to 6-4 on the season with the 27-24 victory and are currently tied with the New York Giants atop the NFC East division. The Cowboys and Giants still have yet to play one another and will meet on December 11th and in the last game of the regular season on January 1st. Those two games should determine the NFC East champion.
The Cowboys next two games are against Miami and Arizona, while New York has New Orleans and Green Bay. Dallas has an opportunity over the next two weeks to create some separation from the Giants before they meet in three weeks.
To round out the NFC East, the New York Giants sit at No. 12 in this weeks rankings, while the Philadelphia Eagles are at No. 18, and the Washington Redskins come in at No. 26 this week.
