The Texas Longhorns open their basketball season Sunday night at 6:00 CT at home against the Boston Terriers. Boston won the America East conference last year, while Texas returns no starters, so this might be a little interesting.
Texas will be led by J'Covan Brown, who came on strong off the bench late last season, averaging 22 points per game in the NCAA tournament. Myck Kabongo figures to play a key role at the point as a true freshman for the Longhorns, who do return Alexis Wangmene and Clint Chapman as veteran frontcourt players. It should be an interesting season for Rick Barnes.
The game can be seen via a free preview weekend online on LonghornNetwork.com.
