Missouri Vs. Texas Score Update: Tigers Pull Ahead Of Longhorns 14-3

Early in the first quarter Texas Longhorns' star tailback Foswhitt Whittaker went down with a serious leg injury. Whittaker was unable to put weight on the leg after trainers helped him up to take him off the field. With Malcolm Brown and Joe Bergeron also on emergency duty status, all of a sudden the Longhorns' depth chart looks extremely thin.

Oh, and the Missouri Tigers lead the Longhorns 14-3 after two rushing touchdowns by the offense. QB James Franklin scored from two yards out, and Kendial Lawrence scored from 27 yards away.

The Longhorns scored on a 12-play, 78-yard drive early in the first quarter. The drive culminated into a 27-yard field goal by Justin Tucker.

Both offenses have struggled thus far to get in rhythm thus far, with much of the credit given to the defenses of both Big 12 squads.

With a win, the Missouri Tigers would become bowl-eligible. For the Longhorns, a win would put them at 7-2 overall.
