TCU Vs. BYU Halftime Score: Horned Frogs Have Cougars Doubled Up

TCU has a reasonable home field advantage with BYU coming to the Lone Start State to play a Mountain West grudge match in Cowboys Stadium, and the Horned Frogs have undoubtedly delighted the local fans by putting together a strong first half. TCU leads, 28-10, at halftime, and that score is both deceiving and appropriate at once.

The deception comes because BYU outgained TCU, albeit by less than 30 yards, in the first half. But Cougars quarterback Riley Nelson's two picks have scuttled BYU drives, and the Horned Frogs scored with less than a minute left in the first half to push the lead to three possessions.

Casey Pachall has thrown for 120 yards and two touchdowns in the first half, with Skye Dawson and Josh Boyce hauling in a scoring pass each.
