TCU Vs. BYU Score: Horned Frogs Score On BYU Mistakes, Lead 14-10

The TCU Horned Frogs got up early on the BYU Cougars by scoring the first points on the night in only 45 seconds on a drive that last a mere two plays that went for 60 yards. BYU did help TCU out by being called for a 15-yard personal foul penalty called on Brandon Ogletree on a pass that was for a two-yard loss to Josh Boyce. Then on the very next play Casey Pachall connected with Skye Dawson on a 48-yard touchdown pass.

Dawson was extremely wide open on the pass and easily made it into the endzone for the early 7-0 lead.

BYU had issues punting the ball and helped set up TCU's second touchdown. Here is animated evidence of that punt attempt, via gif.mocksession.com:

That play resulted in a loss of 30 yards and gave TCU the ball at the BYU eight yard line.  TCU then put another touchdown on the board with Matt Brown scoring on a 6-yard touchdown run which put TCU up 14-0.

BYU has made a comeback by kicking a 42-yard field goal to get BYU on the board. Then BYU mounted a long drive to get their first touchdown of the game. BYU quarterback Riley Nelson then led BYU down the field by gaining most of the offense by 59 of the 72 yards and capped the scoring drive on a 22-yard touchdown pass to Michael Alisa to close the gap to 14-10/
