Dez Bryant's confidence in the Dallas Cowboys has not been shaken, despite the team's uneven 2-3 start. In an Inside the Huddle show hosted earlier this week by RB Tashard Choice, Bryant's swagger was on full display:
"As far as the team, I like our chances," Bryant said. "I feel like, it might sound crazy, I think that we are unbeatable. I feel like the losses, we lost those games ourselves. Once we get back in that meeting room and we regroup and we learn from our mistakes, the sky’s the limit."
The Cowboys have proven they can hang with the NFL's elite teams, as they had fourth-quarter leads against the 5-1 Detroit Lions, the 5-1 New England Patriots and the 3-3 Jets, as well as dramatic last-minute victories against the 5-1 San Francisco 49ers and the 3-2 Washington Redskins.
As has been the case throughout the Tony Romo era, the Cowboys have been incredibly inconsistent this season, especially when games are on the line in the fourth-quarter. Bryant, meanwhile, has been fairly quiet in crunch time, with all three of his TD grabs this year coming in the first half of games.
With the schedule getting easier and the 0-5 St. Louis Rams coming to town, Bryant will have the chance to back up his big talk on Sunday.
