Miles Austin Injury Update: Receiver Participating In Monday Practice

ESPN Dallas' Tim McMahon is reporting that Cowboys receiver Miles Austin is dressed out and participating in today's practice for Sunday's game against New England.

Austin missed the Cowboys' last two games after suffering a hamstring injury in Dallas' win at San Francisco three weeks ago, where he exploded against the 49ers (nine receptions, 143 yards, three touchdowns). Austin told the Cowboys' official site last week that he would've been ready to go then if Dallas wasn't on a bye:

"I would like to be out there, but we've been pretty cautious about it. I want to be full go," Austin said.

The bye week will certainly help his status against the Patriots. However, Austin feels he would be good if there was a scheduled game in Week 5.

"I feel like if we didn't have a bye week, I would be going that week anyway, but it's good to have that because then you have a couple of extra days to get treated and do what you need to do, " Austin said.
