Texas Basketball: Longhorns Rise To No. 3 In Latest NCAA Rankings

The Texas Longhorns moved up once again in the latest NCAA basketball rankings. The Longhorns, who are riding a six-game-winning streak dating back to Jan. 8, have defeated ranked opponents in four of their last five games, including a win against the second-ranked Kansas Jayhawks - in Kansas.

Last week, Texas defeated Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla., before defeating Missouri easily at home on Saturday by a 61-46 margin.

Further justifying Texas' high ranking is their conference record. The Longhorns have gone undefeated thus far in Big 12 play headed into their matchup tonight against Texas A&M. Texas is a perfect 6-0 within the conference, including the aforementioned win in Kansas and a win at home previously against the Aggies.

The Longhorns have another pair of games this week within the conference as they take on the Aggies on Monday night before playing host to Texas Tech on Saturday.
