Kim Clijsters Defeats Li Na, Wins Australian Open

Kim Clijsters won her fourth Grand Slam title - and her first Australian Open - as she defeated Li Na in three sets, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3. The win for Clijsters is her second consecutive Grand Slam victory as she was the 2010 U.S. Open champion late last summer.

Na, who is the first Asian player to ever reach a Grand Slam's final, had her fairy tale story thwarted. Na, the ninth seed in the Australian Open, defeated top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki in the semi-finals but could not finish Clijsters off after jumping out to a one-set advantage. Clijsters won the next two sets with relative ease, 6-3 and 6-3, to end Na's run in Melbourne.

The men's final will take place on Sunday and pit two unlikely candidates: Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic. Murray bested David Ferrer 4-6, 7-6, 6-1, 7-6 to reach the finals while Djokovic took out defending champion Roger Federer in straight sets, 7-6, 7-5 and 6-4.
