AFC Playoff Picture

Everything is finally set in stone for the AFC playoffs.

The Patriots locked up the No. 1 seed last week, so their win today didn't change anything. New England finished at 14-2 for the third time in franchise history - the past two times they did, they won the Super Bowl.

↵

The Steelers are the AFC North champions No. 2 seed following their 41-9 drubbing of the Cleveland Browns. Pittsburgh will have a bye week along with New England for Wild Card weekend.

↵

The Indianapolis Colts defeated the Titans and have won the AFC South. With the win and Kansas City's loss, the Colts are the No. 3 seed.

↵

The Kansas City Chiefs, after losing to the Oakland Raiders, are now the No. 4 seed. The Chiefs and Colts both went 10-6 this year, but Indianapolis owns a better in-conference record.

↵

The Baltimore Ravens are the fifth seed with their 12-4 record while the New York Jets are the sixth seed, finishing the season 11-5.

↵

The Jets will travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts on Wild Card weekend in a rematch of last year's AFC Championship game. The Colts, of course, won that game before losing to the Saints in Super Bowl 44. The Ravens, meanwhile, head to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs.
