College Basketball Rankings: Texas, A&M Up To #10, #11

This week's AP college basketball rankings are out, and Texas and Texas A&M have inched upward after a strong conference start. Texas is at No. 10 after manhandling Texas Tech on the road and Oklahoma at home. The Aggies wiped out Oklahoma State, before winning a 91-89 thriller over Missouri. The two Texas giants have their first showdown Wednesday night in Austin. They meet again January 31 in College Station.

Kansas is second in the nation, after garnering six first place votes. Missouri is the only other ranked Big 12 team, checking in at No. 13. Kansas St., Colorado and Baylor also received votes.

Ohio St. is in the top spot, joining Kansas, Syracuse and San Diego St. as top ten teams with a perfect record. Duke's loss to Florida St. drops them to No. 4. The Big East owns half of the top eight spots, with Pittsburgh, Villanova and UConn joining Syracuse.
