The University of Texas Longhorns had the largest drop in this week's college football rankings, falling from seventh to 21st in the latest AP Poll following Texas' 34-12 loss to unranked UCLA.
The Longhorns committed five turnovers, four of which came in the first half. The Longhorns trailed 13-3 at the half and were then outscored 21-9 in the second half. UCLA rushed for 264 yards and dominated time of possession as a result, holding onto the ball for 32:59 during their upset win.
Mack Brown and his Longhorns will have to regroup and refocus this week as they prepare for the Red River Shootout this Saturday against the eighth-ranked Oklahoma Sooners.
