K.C. Joyner Has Good Things To Say About The Cowboys

I consider K.C. Joyner to be the best NFL analyst out there, so I had to share this.

↵

He was just on with Brian Kenny (who I consider ESPN’s best radio host) and Darren Woodson (who I consider the most underrated safety in the history of ever) discussing several NFL topics, most interestingly the Cowboys. Just about the first thing that came out of Joyner’s mouth was this: “they have the best wide reciever in the NFL — yes, better than Andre Johnson. . .”

↵

Joyner isn’t a crack pot, he’s a guy who breaks down every play of every NFL game every season in to the most objective measures he can. And he considers Miles Austin not just good but the best. That’s fantastic. Now I can say that without being biased!

↵

He also took from the Redskins game a pretty similar take to many of the writers across SB Nation: encouragement. Joyner said the Cowboys showed just how talented they are when they were nearly able to win that game despite everything seemingly going against them. I also agree with that, though a loss still hurts no matter what.

↵

He closed with expecting them to go 10-6. After talking about how amazingly talented they are (if you were the Cowboys your head would have burst with all the praise he heaped on them), I’m assuming that’s due to the schedule, but it’s right about where I expected them coming in.

↵

If that doesn’t make you feel at least a little better, I’m sorry.
