Deon Anderson Will Miss 2-4 Weeks After Knee Surgery

Cowboys running back Deon Anderson tore his meniscus in his left knee and will miss 2-4 weeks, after surgery today. The Cowboys will look to rookie Chris Gronkowski to fill in as the sole fullback in the mean time. Anderson’s injury means that Dallas will have just three tight ends and fullbacks on their roster.

The Cowboys will likely be without rookie inside linebacker Sean Lee Sunday. He strained his hamstring Sunday night and has missed practice Wednesday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, Marc Colombo is convinced that he will be ready to play Sunday after practicing both days.

“We’ve been doing a lot of good rehab and working my leg and getting myself back to where I need to be, and I just needed to go out there and thud up with some people. That was an area of concern yesterday and I felt pretty good.”
