Richard Durrett reports that Ian Kinsler’s one game suspension has been overturned. Kinsler was ejected from the game Friday night but returned to the field – purportedly against regulations – to celebrate Nelson Cruz’s game winning home run.
Kinsler appealed the suspension and played in Tuesday’s 11-4 win over the Tigers, and he found out this afternoon that he will not have to sit for a game after all. No word yet on MLB’s grounds for overturning the suspension.
