Akwasi Owusu-Ansah Makes Cowboys Camp Debut

As expected, fourth-round defensive back Akwasi Owusu-Ansah was able to practice at Cowboys training camp for the first time on Wednesday. The rookie corner/kick returner missed all of the team’s organized workouts this spring after undergoing surgery for an injured shoulder this spring.

Owusu-Ansah explained his excitement to be out there working with his teammates for the first time:

“It’s an exciting feeling,‘’ Owusu-Ansah said. "I feel like I’m officially a Cowboy now. I signed a contract and all that, but nothing can replace the feeling of being out here practicing with your teammates, having the star on your helmet and all the little things.’’
