Rosters for the Arizona Fall League were announced today and the Texas Rangers will be sending eight of their minor leaguers to be members of the Surprise Rafters. The Rangers are sending pitching prospects Adalberto Flores, Danny Gutierrez, Eric Hurley and Tim Murphy along with catcher Jose Felix, shortstop Davis Stoneburner with outfielders Engel Beltre and Joey Butler. None of the prospects being sent by Texas are on the Rangers MLB 40 man roster.
The Surprise Rafters roster will be filled out with prospects from the St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals and Milwaukee Brewers. Milwaukee is sending two players on their 40 man roster - pitchers Jeremy Jeffress and Mike McLendon.
