Let's Assess Mid-Series

A sweep at the hands of the Rays and a split with the Orioles seemed to have some fans concerned.

Well, sure, that’s not a fun stretch, but now the Rangers are playing yet another elite team. And they’ve now guaranteed at least a split in the series to open up. And the first game was almost a no-hitter. Just about every facet of the team has looked good in the last two games.

Oh, and Nelson Cruz will be back after the next series and Ian Kinsler is on the way. So this team that has just outscored a playoff-caliber opponent by five runs in the first two games is going to be even better soon.

And the Rangers are also now just half a game back of homefield in the first round. To those of you who need to be told: stop panicking, they’ve got this.
