Rangers' Feldman Could Hit Disabled List

Per Jeff Wilson, Scott Feldman could head to the disabled list prior to Sunday’s game in Baltimore with knee soreness. He’s currently scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday, but the Rangers might not even wait for the results of the MRI before placing him on the disabled list.

Rangers manager Ron Washington met with the pitching coaches to discuss possible moves, and putting Feldman on the disabled list before Sunday’s game is a possibilty even though it could be difficult to get a replacement player to Baltimore before the 1:35 p.m. first pitch.

Feldman is scheduled to have an MRI on Monday and be examined by Dr. Keith Meister. He said the knee has been sore the past few days but started to buckle on him as he warmed up for the seventh inning. He said he has no pain while walking, but pushing off is an issue.
