Little League World Series 2010: Pearland, TX Takes On Plymouth, MN

The Little League World Series field is now set in stone after Toms River, NJ clinched the Mid-Atlantic regional berth last night. Pearland, TX was the first American team to clinch their spot and they'll be placed in Pool B along with Fairfield, CT (New England champions), Plymouth, MN (Midwest champions), and Auburn, WA (Northwest champions). The other United States pool contains Toms River, NJ, Waipahu, HI (West champions), Columbus, GA (Southeast champions) and Hamilton, OH (Great Lakes champions). 


The Southwest regional winners from Pearland, TX will take on Plymouth, MN on Friday at 2:00 PM Central. The game will be televised live on ESPN and Barring the outcome, the All-Stars from Pearland will either play Saturday or Sunday in the round robin style tournament during pool play.
