Three Fourth Quarter Scores Push Raiders Past Cowboys

The Dallas defense chose a bad week to take a cue from Cliff Lee and the Rangers. After pitching a shutout for the first three quarters for the second straight week, the Cowboys allowed two forth quarter drives to surrender the lead.

As Dallas attempted a late comeback, a Matt Nichols pass bounced off of Manny Johnson’s hands and into Jerome Boyd’s, who ran the interception back for a touchdown.

Jon Kitna starred for Dallas, going 8-11 for 96 yards.

On a brighter note, the Cowboys were able to avoid significant injuries. They lost tight end John Phillips for the season in the Hall Of Fame Game on Sunday and were without 13 players tonight.

The team will travel to Oxnard this week to begin the Califormia portion of their training camp. They visit the San Diego Chargers for their third preseason game on August 21.
