NBA Schedule Announced, Mavericks Will Play 20 Back-To-Backs

The Mavericks' schedule has been released today. It features no ABC games, but ten on ESPN and six on TNT. Just shy of half of the Dallas schedule and 22 of their last 35, will be parts of back-to-back games. Nineteen of the 20 will require travel between the games, with just one involving two Los Angeles road games. Dallas' last 17 games will all be inside the Western Conference.

Some highlights:

  • Dallas will open at home on October 27 against Charlotte.
  • They will face the now infamous Heat a month later on November 27, in what will surely be the hottest ticket this season.
  • The Mavericks will play on New Years Night in Milwaukee
  • The Lakers won't be in town until January 19.
  • They host New Orleans on the last night of the season. Whose uniform will Chris Paul be wearing?
  • If you have relatives in Oklahoma, get to their house early for Thanksgiving, as the Mavs visit the Thunder that Wednesday night
  • Likewise, a Florida Christmas vacation can take you to see Dallas on the 20th in Miami and the 21st in Orlando.
  • The Spuuuuurs are in town December 30.
