When news broke of Dez Byrant having to be helped off the field from Friday’s practice, it was thought…or perhaps rather, hoped…that it wasn’t anything too serious. Unfortunately that may not be the case, as ESPN is reporting that sources tell them that Bryant has a high ankle sprain.
High ankle sprains of course are excruciatingly painful and much more tricky to recover from than low sprains. Usually the best medicine is time off, which Bryant surely won’t be pleased to do considering his interest in acclimating himself with the Cowboys’ system and playbook.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
