Barry Schlacter reports that Mark Cuban intended to have a decision on his intentions involving a bid on the bankrupt Texas Rangers Monday night, according to his attorney Clifton Jessup.
“We are making some critical decisions today [Monday],” Jessup told William K. Snyder, the chief restructuring officer. Cuban may not make it to a scheduled meeting today of potential bidders in Dallas, he told Snyder, who was appointed by federal Judge D. Michael Lynn.
Schlacter also reports that Judge Lynn maintained an August 4 date for the auction of the team, after hearing arguments from both sides on delaying the process.
