The awesome thing about a seven game lead is that you can lose a game and still be at least six games up. I know that goes without saying, but saying it can remind you how little today’s game actually matters.
↵Sure, it sucked to watch. But the Rangers were unlikely to sweep the series, even a split is worth being happy about (and that’s obviously clinched), and this was the most likely game to lose.
↵Really, I’m kind of happy that I was more bored than angry watching that game. The lead has gotten to where single losses just don’t affect me the way they did a month ago.
↵Get ’em tomorrow.
