Dez Bryant Becomes First 2010 First Round Draft Pick To Sign

So much for their being any sort of stalemate in the negotiations between the Dallas Cowboys and their first-round draft pick from this past April, Dez Bryant. The Cowboys and Bryant agreed to terms on Thursday, making Bryant the very first rookie drafted in the first round to ink a rookie deal. With the Cowboys set to open camp earlier than any other team in the NFL, the organization veered away from its usual policy of basing their rookie deals off of the other teams' signings. As of now, the only confirmation we have of the signing is a recent tweet by Jason La Canfora who had this to say:

Cowboys announce they've agreed to terms with Dez Bryant, the first first round pick from the 2010 draft to sign.

Stay tuned for more information on the terms of the deal and if it's in fact accurate, both here and at Blogging The Boys.
