Cowboys Camp Injuries: Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, Stephen Hodge To Miss Time

Calvin Watkins reports that rookie safety Akwasi Owusu-Ansah will miss the first handful of practices in training camp due to shoulder surgery, and linebacker Stephen Hodge could begin camp on the physically unable to perform list.

Stephen Hodge, the linebacker from TCU, who still is recovering from microfracture surgery, most likely will start camp on the Physical Unable to Perform list.

Hodge is doing some light rehab at Valley Ranch but has not been cleared to practice.

Safety Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, who missed the rookie minicamp and all of the organized team activites with shoulder issues, will not particpate the first few days of camp.

Watkins also reports that defensive starters Jay Ratliff and Keith Brooking will be fine to start camp.
