Things Feel Better In The Light Of Day

New, 3 comments

That was a really frustrating game last night, but hopefully we’ve found some perspective the next day.

The Rangers lost by a single run on the road against a solid team in a game that was probably about a coin-flip at best. Blowing opportunities is frustrating to watch, but for judging the future of a team, it’s much better than not getting opportunities at all.

Of course, winning the series will be pretty hard, since it will require going through Jered Weaver, but I think almost everyone was going to be fine with getting one-out-of-three.

Last night was probably the most important game the Rangers have played yet this season. Now, tonight’s probably takes that title. Win against Scott Kazmir and his 5.46 xFIP and these three games are probably okay.
