Dez Bryant Set To Return During Afternoon Session

After missing four days of workouts due to hamstring pain, Cowboys rookie Dez Bryant was happy to find out he was cleared to return to Friday’s afternoon minicamp session according to Josh Ellis of DallasCowboys.com.

“I felt like I could have went (this morning),” Bryant said. “But they just wanted to make sure. I’m ready to go. I’ll be suited and booted.”

The Cowboys will hold the second of their five scheduled minicamp practices beginning at 3:30 p.m. They’ll also practice twice Saturday, including an afternoon workout at Cowboys Stadium which is open to fans touring the facility. Only one practice is scheduled for Sunday, though coach Wade Phillips has in the past cancelled the last day of on-field work for an afternoon of team bonding.
