College Football Rankings Week 15: TCU No. 3

The latest college football rankings were released on Sunday and as expected, the TCU Horned Frogs are the third ranked team in both the USA Today and AP poll.

Auburn is the top-ranked team in the AP poll but Oregon held onto the top spot in the USA Today poll. It doesn't matter for either school though, as Auburn and Oregon will face off in the BCS Championship game in Glendale, Arizona.

Oklahoma, who won the Big 12 title game last night over Nebraska, moved up from No. 10 to No. 9 in the AP poll and a tie for eighth in the USA Today poll with Arkansas. The Sooners will head to Arizona to play in the Fiesta Bowl.

The Big East champion and four-loss BCS qualifier Connecticut Huskies cracked the top 25 in the AP poll, coming in at No. 25. The Huskies did not crack the top 25 in the USA Today poll. Despite the ranking, the Huskies will head to either Miami or Glendale to participate in either the Orange Bowl or the Fiesta Bowl.

TCU, of course, are ranked third again in both polls. The undefeated Horned Frogs will head to Pasadena on New Year's Day to participate in the Rose Bowl against the Wisconsin Badgers - who are the top ranked BCS team from the Big 10. A convincing win over the Badgers could lead to the Horned Frogs receiving some outlier No. 1 votes in the final polls.
