Cowboys Draft Position

New, 5 comments

After a slew of NFL games, this much is clear- the Carolina Panthers will have the first pick in the NFL draft.

↵

After that all hell breaks loose.

↵

You have 3 teams tied with four wins.

↵

The Broncos, Bengals and Bills. The Broncos have a winnable game next week while the Bengals and Bills play at the Ravens and the Jets respectively. If all things go accordingly- a Broncos win and the Bengals and Bills both lose- the Bills would have the 2nd pick and the Bengals would have the 3rd pick in the draft.

↵

And then the gaggle of 5 win teams begins.

↵

The Cowboys, Vikings, Lions, Cardinals, Niners, Texans and Browns all currently have 5 wins.

↵

2 of those teams will have 6 wins as both the Vikings and Lions and Niners and Cardinals face off in week 17.

↵

Then the tie-breakers come in play with strength of schedule and all that.

↵

Assuming the Cowboys lose next week, they could pick as high as 6th and as low as 9th.

↵

A good player should definitely be available in that range. Whether it be Prince, Marcel Dareus maybe Robert Quinn?

↵

I’m going to keep dreaming…
