NCAA Basketball Rankings: Baylor Drops To 15th

The Baylor Bears dropped six slots in the latest NCAA basketball polls following their loss to Gonzaga on Saturday. The Bears had been ranked ninth headed into the contest against the Bulldogs, but lost 68-64 in Dallas to Gonzaga.

The Bears will be taking part of the Diamond Head Classic - a tournament held in Honolulu, Hawaii. Baylor has a first-round match up against the San Diego Toreros - who currently sit at 2-8. Butler, Florida State, Hawaii, Mississippi State, Utah and Washington State will join San Diego and Baylor in the tournament.

While the Bears dropped in the latest polls, the Texas Longhorns moved up - four spots in the AP poll and three spots in the USA Today poll. The Longhorns are now ranked 18th in the AP poll while moving up to 22nd in the USA today poll. The Longhorns will face another tough test on Wednesday when they travel to East Lansing to take on the 12th-ranked Spartans of Michigan State.
