Aggies Stun Sooners, End Their National Title Bid

College Station, TX (Sports Network) – Ryan Tannehill completed 19-of-32 throws for 225 yards and two touchdowns, and was intercepted twice, as Texas A&M used three remarkable goal-line stands to upend 11th-ranked Oklahoma, 33-19, at Kyle Field.

Cyrus Gray carried 22 times for 112 yards and a score while Ryan Swope made eight catches for 136 yards and a TD for the Aggies (6-3, 3-2 Big 12), who beat the Sooners for the first time in eight tries going back to 2002.

Landry Jones connected on 36-of-59 passes for 290 yards and a touchdown, along with one interception, while Ryan Broyles made eight receptions to tie Mark Bradley for the school’s all-time record with 221 for the Sooners (7-2, 3-2), who have dropped two out of three after winning their first six games.

DeMarco Murray ran for 80 yards and a score on 25 tries, caught 10 passes for 73 yards and returned four kickoffs for 104 yards to pass Joe Washington to become the school’s all-time leader in all-purpose yards with 6,106.
