FC Dallas Stuns LA Galaxy, 3-0

F.C. Dallas has won their first birth in an MLS Final with a 3-0 road win in Los Angeles. Playmaker scored the opener in the 26th minute and setup the final goal for Marvin Chavez in the 73rd. Brek Shea crossed for George John in the 54th to open some breathing room.

Dallas goalkeeper Kevin Hartman earned his clean sheet in the first half, cleaning up for a defense that struggled to defend David Beckham's crosses, but the Galaxy were unable to get things going in the second. After a first half foray that Hartman just reached with his glove, Landon Donovan was not heard from, and 19-goal scorer Edson Buddle was made a nonfactor. Hartman finished his strong evening by diving to save a nasty free kick from Beckham straight-on from about 25 yards.

FC Dallas will take on the Colorado Rapids at Toronto's BMO Field on November 21 at 7:30. Neither Dallas nor Colorado has won a championship.
