Following a 45-0 drubbing of Wyoming, the TCU Horned Frogs have moved up a spot in the AP Poll in the latest college football rankings. TCU entered the week ranked at No. 5 in both the AP and USA Today rankings but moved up a spot to No. 4 in the AP Poll, thanks to top-ranked Alabama's loss to South Carolina.
TCU remained fifth in the USA Today poll with Nebraska leaping ahead of them to No. 4.
In a mock BCS ranking, TCU is ranked third behind Oregon and Boise State. Amazingly, two of the top three teams in the mock BCS are from non-BCS conferences with Boise State at No. 1 and TCU at No. 3.
The Horned Frogs will host BYU this weekend in Mountain West Conference play. The Dallas Morning News believes that TCU cannot afford to look past the Cougars this week and look ahead to their matchup with No. 23 Air Force.
