Rangers Vs. Indians Game Recap: Jurickson Profar Shines As Rangers Top Indians 8-3

Jurickson Profar homered in his first major league at-bat as the Texas Rangers beat the Cleveland Indians 8-3 on Sunday.

The 19-year-old blasted a 2-1 fastball thrown by Indians pitcher Zach McAllister in the third inning in his debut in the majors. Profar becomes the first player born in 1993 to get a hit in a major league game. He ended the game with two hits.

Josh Hamilton, Adrian Beltre and David Murphy lit up the fifth inning, each recording a solo shot.

The Rangers matched their best record through 133 games with 79 wins set in 1999.

In their last 35 games, the Indians stand at 6-29.

Derek Holland picked up his tenth win as he allowed two runs over seven innings.
